Home Convalescing

I am home, from the hospital convalescing for the next month. Yeah, I feel much better after they removed the last two wires protruding from my chest this morning. Relaxing right now and looking forward to my first shower in a week later this afternoon.

I know Kim has coordinated a schedule with some friends for assistance over the next few days. I’ll be putting together a schedule of other time slots where I may need assistance, from company at night checking in on me to making upcoming doctors appointments.

If you’re not local, don’t worry about making it here to help. All I can say is thank you for the enormous outpouring of support you’ve all given me.

I’ll be out and about sooner than you know it.

Thanks for your offer to drop everything and come out to help. I have an enormous amount of local friends clambering to help and I’m not going to need it. I’m very fortunate to have the support. The next week or more is already taken care of with folks that have reserved time slots. I don’t want, nor need the stress of others from out of town coming to help added to the mix. I’m managing the stress of 50 or more folks clambering to help by scheduling time slots.
