Well, while everyone is worried thinking I’m in surgery, Im still waiting. I was supposed to go into surgery this am. They woke me at 6am to scrub and clean and i am waiting with no answers. This seems to be par for TGH. my only complaint this week is that every test, procedure etc has happened 3-5 hours after they have me waiting for it. The staff however has been superb. The nurses are speculating that an emergency came in and my surgeon is working on someone more serious or that a heart became available for someone on the transplant list. So for now, no idea if its happening yet today while I wait starving as i am not allowed to eat before surgery.

PS – the lotion is NOT related to the mag, the lotion and chapstick are strictly for use on your body for the dry air in the hospital!!! 😉 Hopefully the worst will be over soon and you keep positive, soothing thoughts! Aggravating I am sure, but way better than some of the other hospitals you have been in. I hope they let you know what’s happening soon.

I’m a ticking time bomb. Heart attack at any moment, but stable. And if something happened I’m here and they’d be on me in seconds. So safe from having damage. Bumping me is therefore not a danger.
I’ve had a lead come off my heart monitor and they’ve come running.
yikes…. that will definitely give all things to talk about after you get through this. not that you ever run out of conversation! but i see a book title…
